Weare’s new police officer Mica is one tough dog, and she’s on the job 24 hours a day with her handler Joe Kelley helping to keep Weare safer. With the ability to provide many different services including officer assistance Mica is a valuable asset to the town and department.

Since their graduation from Patrol School in May 2007 from the New Hampshire State police K-9 school Officer Kelley and Mica have done a number of demonstrations in Weare and one at the Old Home days in Dunbarton.  As you can see from the photographs taken from the demonstration, Mica knows when it is tme to work and when she can be sociable.

Officer Kelley and Mica will be graduating Drug Detection School in November.
